About the Executive Director

WheelCare.Health is managed by Kirk Knestis PhD, of Reston, Virginia. He serves as Executive Director of the corporation for the startup and pilot programs.

Dr. Knestis (“not that kind of doctor”) brings decades of experience to his role with the organization, as a business owner, educator, and social science researcher specializing in the study of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education.

WheelCare.Health is Kirk’s newest endeavor, created so he can give back to the community and to keep him out of trouble.
