A WheelCare.Health Roll In Workshop is a great way to gain initial experience with our Community Care approach to maintenance and repair services, delivered where users of mobility devices gather—senior communities, community centers, places of worship, or civic group meeting places.

Standard introductory event features include the following:
- Workshop set up in any available space at your Fairfax or Loudoun County location (minimum of 10×10 feet, waiting area is useful)
- 3 hours of services provided at no cost to the organizing group
- Participants drop in with their mobility devices—first come, first served
- 15-20 minute initial assessments and service are free to individual workshop participants
- Assessments can include testing of most scooter batteries
- Initial services typically include brake adjustment; tightening of fasteners; and adjustment, cleaning, or replacement of wheel bearings.
- Minor parts (e.g., in-stock bearings and hardware) are included in free initial services
- Any additional, recommended work is addressed individually for device owners with follow-up written price quotes
- Tax-deductible organization or individual financial contributions to support our mission are more than welcome but are not expected
The model described above can be tailored to introduce any group to our service model without first having to make a financial commitment. Contact WheelCare.Health or email Kirk Knestis directly to learn more or get on our calendar.
