A WheelCare.Health Roll In Workshop is a great way to provide maintenance or repair services where users of mobility devices gather—senior communities, community centers, places of worship, or civic group meeting places. Standard workshop features include the following:
- Workshop set up in any available space at your Fairfax or Loudoun County location (minimum of 10×10 feet)
- 3 hours of services provided at no cost to the organizing group
- Participants drop in with their mobility devices—first-come, first served
- 15-20 minute initial assessments and service are free to individual workshop participants
- Assessments can include testing of most scooter batteries
- Minor parts (e.g., in-stock bearings, basic hardware) are included in free initial services
- Any additional, recommended work is addressed individually for device owners with follow-up written price quotes
- Tax-deductible organization or individual financial contributions to support our mission are more than welcome but are not expected
The standard model described above can be tailored to meet any group’s needs. Roll In Workshops are being scheduled now for 2026. Contact WheelCare.Health or email Kirk Knestis directly to learn more or get on our calendar.
